Prairie Biologics Accelerator Building construction underway!

The Prairie Biologics Accelerator building is a state-of-the-art research facility for the Faculty of Science at the University of Manitoba. The Research Facility will provide space for vaccine development, biomanufacturing and regional innovation in western Canada. Designed by Prairie Architects with mcCallumSather lab consultants, Crosier Kilgour structural engineers, KGS Group mechanical, electrical and civil engineers, and Scatliff+Miller+Murray Landscape Architects, this five-story, 59,698 sq ft, LEED Silver facility will provide dedicated lab space to foster interdisciplinary collaboration across microbiology, immunology and engineering. Construction Managers, Bockstael Construction were brought on to deliver the project by Fall 2028. Follow construction progress here!
