This 5,200 square foot 2-storey building is located at 3161 Portage Ave., servicing the west side of Winnipeg. The credit union’s 25 foot height banking hall faces south with an elegant curtain wall glazing system. The southern exposure cascades light on a grand suspended maple slat ceiling. Pendent light fixtures above the tellers make the transaction area more intimate. Sunshades attached to the curtain wall glazing system assist in shielding light away from tellers in the summer months. The exterior facade features a rustic face tyndall stone that compliments smooth wood look fibre cement panels. The second storey features a vibrant yellow and green coloured walls that provide an escape for employees in the staff lounge. The staff lounge features a viewing area to the banking hall below. The credit union promotes active living, by providing a shower for employees that run or bike to work.
